Hey friends! Dropping a 💣 here. After a lot of thinking and taking last year slow, I've come to the decision to step into a new chapter of my business' journey. I'm taking a hiatus from being behind the lens to focus on new dreams and goals. I'm sure I'll be back to it eventually.. I've always said photography chose me, and there's nothing I love more than creating with you all, so I don't see it sticking. But for now I'm going to be prioritizing some other parts of my life instead of going through another year of uncertainty. I'm proud of myself for the past 5 years!Running a business, no matter the size, Its not joke. and this is going to definitely hurt like crazy. SHP was and still is my pride and joy. But I also know that stepping back is the best decion for me right now! So this is me signing out of SHP indefinitely 😭❤️ I love you all! (also, this is a deeply personal decision that I'm not looking to share any further on so please no questions, I just wanted to be transparent and make an announcement of sorts for clarity)

I've known for a good many years. Over 10 years in fact. We worked at the same horse stable in highschool, where she became my first ever "client" outside of my family... and I captured her with her horse. Then in 2016, I captured her senior photos. Fast forward... Her and her long time love are now ENGAGED 😍 and we spent the windiest, most beautiful evening, together. There's nothing better than capturing memories for someone you know and love, but even better than that is when you get to capture that person with someone they love so deeply. The love that these two share is noticeable in every interaction. In the intimate in between moments of stolen kisses and things exchanged through just eye contact, to the belly laughs and the hugs. These two are truly a team and I was enthralled. The sunset at the end of the night was just the cherry on top.
