This week in Confessions, Augustine reflects on sin and wandering from God, showing us that sin isn’t just about what we do—it’s about what we LOVE. When our loves are out of order, our lives follow.

As you read Books 2-3, consider: What does this reveal about why we sin? How might my loves be misdirected?

The good news is that even in our wandering, God is faithful to pursue us!

We're excited to introduce a GraceWay summer reading challenge! Starting in June, we'll be encouraging our GraceWay adults to read through the book Confessions: A Modern Translation by St. Augustine and Peter Northcutt. We'll have a simple reading plan available, as well as a more in-depth guide for those who want to go deeper. We hope you'll plan to join us!
