Please be advised:

The Colonial Regional PD is aware of reports of multiple deceased geese in the retention ponds located at the cul-de-sac of High Point Blvd and along Schoenersville Road in Hanover Township, Northampton County. The PA Game Commission is also aware of these incidents and are investigating the possibility of avian influenza (bird flu).
The public is advised that the Game Commission is working with a contracted testing facility to collect and examine the birds. The public is warned NOT to touch or try to collect any dead birds. It is also advised to keep pets and children away from the water.
The best course of action is to report any additional deceased birds to the PA Game Commission by calling their hotline at 1-833-PGC-WILD (742-9453).
