Yesterday’s wedding at Chelsea Sun Inn was just really special to me, so here’s a lil story why!! 🫶🏼

I first met Liz and Drew back in February 2024 for their snowy engagement session and immediately loved them. Like genuinely felt like I was hanging out with friends I had known forever. Then I photographed their wedding that December and had THE best time with their family and friends all day long.

And that’s where I met Liz’s sister, Hannah, and her fiancé, Patrick!

I still remember Hannah coming up to me at the end of Liz and Drew’s wedding saying she’d be reaching out once they picked a date. 🥹 And thankfully she did because getting to know her and Patrick over the last year has been such a joy!!

Their engagement session last summer was so fun, so easy, and filled with nonstop laughter (and Hannah’s contagious laugh is truly special😂). And then somehow last night was already their wedding day!

But what made yesterday feel so different was walking into a wedding day where so many people already felt familiar to me. Seeing Liz & Drew again, meeting their baby boy, Cooper!!!, seeing family members I already knew, meeting new people who instantly felt welcoming… it just didn’t feel like a job at all. It felt like I was just there to document my friend’s really, REALLY special day! 🥹

At the end of the night, I got a photo with Liz and Drew (my day 1’s!!!!), and then got a photo of me, Hannah, and Liz and it honestly hit me how crazy and meaningful it is that two sisters trusted me to capture such huge moments in their lives with the people that mean the most to them!

This “job” always has been about (and always will be) way more than photos.

And last night was one of those beautiful reminders. 🤍

ALL Mother’s Day sessions have been delivered this morning!!! 💌🥰

And before the day gets away from me, I just wanted to say thank you. Truly!

To the returning families who continue trusting me year after year… and to the first-time families who stepped in front of my camera for the first time this spring… thank you for letting me document these little seasons of life for you. It never feels routine to me. Ever.

There’s so much love in these galleries. Tiny hands, belly laughs, snack breaks, cuddles, chaos, and all the in-between moments that make your family yours. Getting to freeze those memories for you is something I’ll never take for granted 🥹

Personality minis really do have a piece of my heart and I love seeing kids just be kids!!! 🥹 I will be doing these this spring again, but for now, enjoy all these cuties being perfectly themselves!!! 🩵
