Growing up I always watched my parents work day & night to provide a better life for me & my family.

They worked so hard that they never really got to enjoy the fruits of their labor.

I decided then that the only way for me to succeed was to shape a lifestyle around my work that was enjoyable and I'd never need a break from it.

For some people, working to fulfill someone else's dreams in exchange for a steady predictable pay is acceptable. However for me the only way I saw to reach my goals was to get out of the rat race and strive for Entrepreneurship and to become a business owner!

Setting my own hours
Signing my own paychecks
Creative Freedom
As much time off as needed
No income ceiling

There is one simple reason I have an emergency fund of ATLEAST 4 months worth of expenses:

Unforeseen things in life will happen and I am not going back into credit card debt to resolve it.

Been there. Done that. 🤦🏾‍♂️
