It was an honor to wear my hats as a proud Londoner, Assamese, and New Yorker at City Hall, as I joined Mayor Eric Adams and his executive team for a pivotal Round Table with community leaders and change-makers from the Indian diaspora, all committed to shaping the future of our city with our unique journeys, paving the way to shape progress, policy, and more inclusivity for all. 🌆

As someone who has long championed gender equality, youth, and minority representation through #education and #communication, I know how vital it is to have seats at the table where decisions are made. From business and policy to shaping cultural offerings, we must continue advocating for access and opportunity—especially for women, youth, and historically underrepresented communities.

Actions speak louder than words. NYC Office of the Mayor Eric Adams, thank you for not just listening but for engaging, asking the right questions, and taking immediate action. That is leadership—turning conversations into meaningful change.

A huge thank you to Deputy Commissioner of International Affairs, Dilip Chauhan, for your passion and continued dedication to strengthening cultural connections, and to the Mayor’s executive team for making this meeting possible. 🙏🏽

This is just the beginning. Let’s not just talk about change—let’s lead it. 🙌🏽
