🗽Residents and staff from one of our Fairfield County homes enjoyed a stunning and fun day on the water in NYC visiting the Statue of Liberty last week! They couldn't have picked a more beautiful day to visit Lady Liberty! ☀️

Our very own Darrien Smith, Assistant Program Manager, is heading to the Olympics USA Games in Minnesota this week as the Coach of Connecticut's Bowling Team!

"I was chosen and extremely honored to represent Team Connecticut as the 2026 Bowling Coach from Connecticut! The team and I have been practicing two times a week since October and have been through a lot of trainings to maintain healthy living and bond as a team."

The four athletes competing were selected from all across Connecticut. From training, fundraising, registering athletes and getting to know them to designing the uniforms, Darrien has devoted a lot of time to Team Connecticut while still spending time with his family and work family at Ability Beyond.
