Little did the person that made the flip remark understand: One woman had just returned from testifying before the Supreme Court, on males in women's sports and is a champion of - One woman is an industrial real estate specialist for a global gases corporation and currently running for State Representative DIstrict 2 - One woman is the first DRTC woman Chairperson and State Central Representative - One woman a successful Danbury Business Owner. I am proud to know these women.... we inspire each other, and we share our love of God and our Country!

District 2 is made up of the majority of Bethel, along with 12,000+ residents of Danbury. I am grateful to have received the full endorsement of Bethel Republican Town Committee and Danbury CT Republican Town Committee ! I've lived in District 2 over 45 years, 30 of those years in Bethel alone. I've served on the Bethel Board of Education as well as the PTO's of Bethel Schools. I am a supporter of The Center of Education and Empowerment, Danbury Youth Services, Bethel Baseball Association, and I work closely with Ability Beyond as well as Regional Hospice of Western CT. I am rooted in both communities. I'm looking forward to meeting as many residents as I can, over the next few months!

For those of you who don’t understand how our Public Benefits will increase with the passing of HB5340, because it doesn’t actually say that it will increase, in the bill… here’s how it works:
There are approximately 57 government programs funded within the public benefits…. In 2025 it was at a billion dollars plus.

HB 5340 will add approximately $850 million to that!
HB 5340 is years 2027-2037.

Yes…. With State Representative Raghib Allie-Brennan voting yes and passing HB5340, the Public Benefits charge will be increasing! 😡

I not only would have voted NO, I will push to eliminate the public benefits portion of the Eversource bill! In my opinion, if a government program cannot stand on its own merit to be funded, then it doesn’t belong in the budget ….. and it certainly doesn’t belong as a hidden tax to the residents of Connecticut! Lawmakers must be held accountable!
