Not wanting to waste those hand painted dala horses, I made 2 more cakes for M’s birthday party. One was the lemon blueberry cake but w/ cream cheese frosting this time (sooo much more yum) and the new cake is orange blossom matcha cake w/ matcha ganache, homemade strawberry jam, and fresh strawberries. I got to explore some new flavors (& some oldies) for this special order: ginger chai macs w/ Hawaiian ginger & chai mix, black sesame macs, & a tropical cocktail tart w/ mango curd & passion fruit ganache.

simplicity is often times the best!!! relaxing baking sesh w/ some sugar frosted vanilla sablé cookies ❤️🍪😋
