This is the second of a series of rare back issues of Emigre magazine we are putting up for sale. See link in bio.

Published in 1989, Emigre #12 looked at the connection between graphic design and printing, featuring a group of designers who use printing and pre-press as an integral part of the design process. Instead of reproducing existing work we asked the contributors to create original art that incorporated their ideologies. Work by Allen Hori, Warren Lehrer & Phil Zimmermann, Rudy VanderLans and an essay by Ed McDonald about the Dutch designer/printer H.N. Werkman.

Only one copy left! Near perfect condition except for small crease in lower right corner of cover and first two pages.
