PROJECT HILLMONT 1.0:
​Perched on the steep, dramatic hillsides of Oakland, this project reimagines luxury outdoor living by blending high-performance hydrotherapy with the raw beauty of the San Francisco Bay Area supported by reinforced pier-and-grade beam foundation as deep as 12' in some areas to ensure absolute stability where seismic activity occurs.
​To navigate the challenging hillside grade, the project utilizes a split-level concrete terrace system. The upper tier houses a 7'x7'x3' CalderaSpas® hot tub, while the lower tier features a modular 7'x14'x4' Endless Pools® fitness system, creating a "waterfall" aesthetic above the swim spa, serving as a social hub. Its orientation is precision-engineered to capture the "Golden Hour," offering a 180-degree panoramic view of the San Francisco Bay Area skyline.
​The swim spa is positioned with a vanishing edge as you swim against the adjustable water current and towards the city skyline, the water line merges perfectly with the distant view of the San Francisco Bay Area.
​At night a submerged LED systems and low-voltage path lighting designed to minimize light pollution, keeps the focus on the overall ambience accompanied with a balance experience for family gatherings.
