Overview:

Hey scholars, Fellowship alert!!! Applications are OPEN for The Latinx Research Center (LCR) Faculty-Mentored Undergraduate Research Fellowship (FMURF).
The program runs from Fall 2022 through Summer 2023, and pairs outstanding faculty with outstanding undergraduate students advancing research in US Latinx Studies across the liberal arts, sciences, professional schools and the Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive.
The key application dates are as follows:
👉THIS Wednesday, August 31, 2022: Application Closes @ 3pm!!!
👉Tuesday, September 6, 2022: Selected Student Fellows Announced
👉 Friday, September 9, 2022: Small Reception at LRC @ 3:30pm
👉Monday, September 12, 2022: Research Projects Begin

Attention Scholars! Calapalooza is BACK this September with virtual and in person options! Calapalooza is the LEAD Center’s bi-annual student involvement fair. This event provides both new and continuing students to connect with over 1,200+ registered student organizations (RSOs), 60 sororities & fraternities (CalGreeks), and student government groups (ASUC and also the Graduate Assembly.
Through Calapalooza, prospective members can learn how to join a student group, the benefits of membership, the expected time commitment, membership requirements, and how joining can positively impact a student’s Berkeley experience.
