To commemorate the 30th Anniversary of the 1989 Loma Prieta Earthquake Lit Quake, one of the nation's largest literary festivals, held an event in Alfred's Steakhouse in the financial district with guest speaker providing the account of their experiences on that day.

They had some great speakers including Frank Jordan, Chief of Police at the time of the earthquake who later went on to become Mayor of San Francisco.

These photos were taken at a recent event photo shoot I did through San Francisco Magazine|Moden Luxury at California Carpet. This event was quite unique and a lot of fun to shoot.

The concept for the event is California Carpet asked 5 rug designers to create one new and original rug design exclusively for California Carpet. Each designer's rug was featured in the main room along with a model whose hair, make up, and clothing were paired to match the rug's look and feel and let me tell you they were right on!

It's been a pleasure working with San Francisco Magazine and I'm looking forward to shooting many more events with them!
