Congratulations to the Gronert Lab on receiving a $2.37 million National Eye Institute grant!

The 4-year project will investigate PGD2, a prostaglandin found at high levels in the healthy retina and optic nerve. Led by Professor Karsten Gronert with co-investigator Dr. Shruthi Karnam, the project will explore how PGD2 signaling may help protect against retinal ganglion cell degeneration, including in glaucoma.

Twenty residents from our on-campus and affiliate programs celebrated a successful Resident Forum continuing education event and received residency certificates marking the completion of a year of advanced residency education – congratulations!
