Trinity is not here to make a big production out of things.

She prefers the good stuff: calm company, gentle pets, a comfortable spot nearby, and people who understand that some of the sweetest friendships take a little time.

At 5 years old, Trinity is affectionate, mellow, and happiest when the day moves at a softer pace. Once she feels comfortable, she is all about forehead scratches, cheek pets, and being close to her person.

Trinity is available by appointment through Berkeley Humane.

Celebrate the Fourth. Protect Your Pet.

While fireworks are exciting for us, they can be frightening for our pets. Every year, more pets go missing on the Fourth of July than any other day of the year.

Before the festivities begin:

• Keep pets safely indoors.
• Make sure collars and ID tags are up to date.
• Confirm your pet’s microchip information is current.
• Give pets plenty of exercise earlier in the day, before fireworks begin.
• Create a safe space where your pet can retreat, and check on them periodically.
• Close windows, draw curtains or blinds, and play calming music to help reduce anxiety.
• Never bring pets to fireworks displays.

A little preparation today can help ensure your beloved pet is safe, calm, and home where they belong.

From all of us at Berkeley Humane, have a happy, safe, and pet-friendly Fourth of July! 🇺🇸

Cannoli and Beignet are two tiny kittens with one shared mission: inspect everything, claim the good nap spots, and make sure no lap in the room goes underutilized.

Cannoli is the first to investigate, because someone has to supervise the situation.
Beignet is the soft little shadow who keeps close, naps hard, and comes with bonus kitten details visible in the right light.

Together, they are sweet, busy, curious, and fully prepared to turn your home into a kitten-operated establishment.

Meet Cannoli and Beignet this Saturday, June 27, from 11 AM to 1 PM at Headlands Brewing Berkeley-Westbrae during Berkeley Humane adoption day.

Headlands Brewing Berkeley-Westbrae
1280 Gilman St., Berkeley, CA 94702

Please note: Saturday adoptions will take place at Headlands only. There will not be adoptions at Berkeley Humane’s Solano Ave. Thrift Shop that day.
