We will discuss the history of the Left and the U.S. "black question" from the American Revolution to the present — featuring Frantz Fanon, Frederick Douglas, Karl Marx, Hubert Harrison, Claude McKay, Stokley Carmichael, Barbara Fields, and Adolph Reed Jr., & more.
