171 Tibetans have now self-immolated in protest against China's repression of Tibet.

Lobga Rangzen's death outside the UN Headquarters was a call to action. In his final message, he urged Tibetans living in freedom to use their voices for those inside Tibet who cannot.

Today, more than 160 Tibet support and ally organisations worldwide are answering his call with renewed determination, unity and purpose in support of the Tibetan people's struggle for freedom and independence.
