Come thru to any and all of our 5 events to just have a good time and get this bread overall! You know it's always a good time at the ΑΚΛ fratpartment (2467 Warring St, Apt 102)! All events will be at the fratpartment except for Meet the Bros BBQ. Everyone should cruise:

The AKL family has lost a great friend and leader. Paul Foster's legacy at UC Berkeley spans five decades. Please join in remembering Paul.

There will be a memorial service at Northbrae Community Church in Berkeley on July 21st at 2:00 pm. A reception will follow. The address is 941 The Alameda, Berkeley, CA 94707.

After touring from California to New York, the band Mom Jeans (featuring brother Austin Carango and alumnus Gabriel Paganin) returned to AKL for Cal Day. Big thanks to the three bands--Mom Jeans, Forget It, and Like Roses--for their killer performances yesterday.

Our good friend and brother, Gene Peterson (third from left) joined the Omega Chapter on March 23rd. Gene was kind, loyal, patient and taught us many life lessons.

Recent alumnus Lance Cadang shares a few words:

"I joined AKL as a junior at Cal. I had just finished my biology prereqs and after two years at Cal, I was exhausted. I needed a change of pace. AKL entered my life and with it, I gained new friends, new perspectives, and a wave of new experiences which have become great memories.

Being in a group as diverse and supportive as AKL, enriched my experience and helped me personally and surprisingly enough, professionally as well. AKL breathed new life into mine and gave me brothers for life. (It doesn’t hurt that AKL likes to throw down and turn up.)

I graduated cm laude with a BA in Integrative Biology in 2016. After Cal, I did a short research internship in Singapore and am now in a rotational program at Genentech, working on developing next generation’s pharmaceuticals."
