APASA is requesting nominations for the esteemed Sunny Low Award and Exceptional Professional Award. Each award shall honor a staff member at UC Berkeley who has demonstrated outstanding service and commitment to the campus community. The recipient of each award shall have made a positive impact on the AAPI community in the areas of service, mentorship, and equity & inclusion.

Exceptional Professional Award: There may be up to 2 winners. The award recipients will each receive a $200 stipend & a framed certificate.
Sunny Low Award: The recipient will receive a $400 stipend & a plaque.

These awards will be presented at the annual APASA Lunar New Year Celebration on February 20, 2024.

Join us for our first outing of the fall semester! On Sunday, December 3, we’ll meet for lunch at Sam's Eatery at 11:30am then head over to the Asian Art Museum around 1pm for its free-admission Sunday. (The newly opened special exhibition, The Heart of Zen, requires separate admission at $15).
