What does community-building look like at AileyCamp? Last Friday, it looked like a campus-wide scavenger hunt across UC Berkeley.

Campers were divided into four groups — intentionally outside their usual circles — and challenged to work together to solve location riddles and complete activities at each stop. Highlights included communicating birthdays without speaking, Human Bingo (each tile required a conversation with a different person), and finding the next clue by figuring out which campus landmark was being described.

AileyCamp goes beyond dance — it gives young people the space to build confidence, connect with peers outside their usual circles, and get comfortable in new environments.

We are proud to host AileyCamp right here on the UC Berkeley campus every summer. 💙🐻
