Firefly Yoga

Dear Friends –

We hope that all of you are doing well and staying healthy.

When we began planning to open the studio early last year, we were optimistic that the pandemic was winding down and that opening in July 2021 would align well with the reopening / relaxing of covid related restrictions. We anticipated that many who had been deprived the opportunity to practice in community would be ready to return to a studio environment. Unfortunately, we did not expect the subsequent waves of Delta and Omicron, nor did we fully expect the trepidation many would feel about gathering as a group once again. These factors dramatically slowed our ramp up phase and drained a lot of our funds, as we felt it was important to maintain a robust schedule and affordable pricing (in the spirit of building community and making yoga accessible to all).

We understood the process of building would take time, but did not foresee all of the challenges we would face.

Even though more yogis are finding out about the studio every week, we no longer have the financial capacity to continue investing in the business.

So with that reality, we are sad to announce that we will be closing the studio, our final day will be June 5th.

We are engaging in some discussions with individuals who may be interested / willing to move into the space. If any in our community are also interested, would be thrilled to connect with you. We still believe that with sufficient time and investment, the business does have the potential to succeed.

While we are personally very sad and disappointed to have to make this decision, we are so very grateful for the care and support each of you have brought to Firefly, we love you very much.

Please continue to come to class to support the studio and instructors as much as possible over the next two weeks. If you have unused classes (or time from a monthly membership) left on your account after the studio closure, we will be refunding you for the unused portion accordingly.
