Patio Conversion: This area between the music studio and greenhouse was muddy, messy, and unpleasant. Yet it was sunny and wind-protected at this ocean bluff-front property. We decided it was time for a makeover. And what a transformation! It became an ideal spot for outdoor dining, entertaining, and unwinding after a long day, with chimes and the sound of the ocean in the distance.

BATHROOM MAKEOVER ON A BUDGET: Sometimes you don't have time and you don't have money, but there's still a lot you can do:

This primary bath was a short and low-budget update. We weren't able to demo and redo the tile or shift layout, so we did some quick cosmetic updates and chose complementary colors to work with the existing tile as well as possible. We wanted an elegant look, that wasn't too frilly, to balance away from the pink tile toward luxurious but also simple. Sometimes just unifying elements and choosing complimentary colors is all you need to create a quick and cheap makeover!
