"Incarcerated Japanese-American children & incarcerated Palestinian children: No difference" https://jpstillwater.blogspot.com/2024/10/incarcerated-japanese-american-children.html I just toured the Berkeley Historical Society's new exhibit regarding the harsh incarceration of Japanese-American children during World War II -- and immediately was struck by the close similarity between Manzanar's children and the children of Gaza (except of course for the part where we are currently burning thousands of Gaza children alive).

I saw a poster at the exhibit that read, "I dream of a world where children are not incarcerated." Yeah, well. We still have a long long long way to go before we can make that dream come true -- but if we ever want this to happen, then we gotta stop futzing around and make it happen.

We are now totally ashamed of what America did to Japanese-American children back then. Will we also be totally ashamed of what we are doing to the children of Gaza right now as well?
