Throwback Thursday - Streetscapes 2013

Here's another favorite memory of working with a team of dedicated community minded folks. Off we went to DC to make our case and I snapped a picture in the Capitol when we were between meetings. While we didn't get everything we wanted, the re-paving of Fairfax street is now history and the Washington Street retention basins have been installed that will help save property during certain flooding events. It really just goes to show that volunteerism, teamwork and leadership can make big things happen for Morgan County. Let's keep dreaming big!

I had a coffee with the candidate event last Thursday and I really need to give a big shout out to Charlotte's Cafe' and especially Ashley for her amazing pastry work. I got so many compliments
on this goodies she made.. Her abilities are through the roof.. I highly recommend the Danish, the cookies, the muffins and the fritters.
I went for the coffee and have new found love for the sweets.
Also big thanks to John Mason the crew for their assistance.
