I haven’t posted much lately—and that’s been intentional.

I’ve been focused on coaching, building out strength programs, and continuing to study so I can deliver better training to every athlete that walks through WAYfit.

Not everything needs to be posted. The real work is happening behind the scenes.

Over the past 7 days, 13 athletes (ages 7–17) have come through and put in work. And this week alone, we welcomed 4 new athletes to the WAYfit Youth Performance Program.

That’s what matters:
Consistency. Growth. Development.

We’re building something real over here—and we’re just getting started.

Because Your Athletes Deserve the Best

We’ve been iced in all weekend, so all training sessions were cancelled. Instead of wasting time, I opened the books.

This year I set a goal to earn my Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).

For those who may not know, the CSCS is considered the gold standard for strength and conditioning professionals. It focuses on scientifically based program design to improve athletic performance—covering biomechanics, exercise physiology, nutrition, testing, and long-term athletic development. It’s the certification most commonly held by professionals working with collegiate and professional athletes.

Even with multiple credentials, I wanted a deeper understanding of how to train athletes the right way. This material is more challenging than any college course I took—but growth isn’t supposed to be easy.

I ask my athletes to give their best every day. That same standard applies to me.

And just as important—I want my own kids to see what lifelong learning actually looks like.
