🐾💥 Freedom Friday: Boom Day Safety Tips! 💜🎆

For many of us, fireworks mean celebration. For many dogs, they can be one of the scariest nights of the year.

Help your pup enjoy a safe and stress-free Boom Day with these simple tips:

🏡 Keep your dog indoors before the fireworks begin.
🎵 Play calming music or white noise to help mask the sounds.
🧸 Offer enrichment activities like a stuffed Kong, lick mat, or favorite chew.
💊 If your veterinarian has prescribed medication for your dog, give it before the fireworks begin so it has time to take effect.
🚪 Make sure collars, tags, and microchip information are up to date, many pets go missing during fireworks.
💜 Let your dog choose where they feel safest. Avoid forcing them to "face their fears."

Remember, every dog experiences loud noises differently. The best gift we can give them is patience, understanding, and a safe place to relax.
