Big chunks of the industry are corporate owned. Supply companies, marketing companies, software, iPad brush sets, you name it, some non tattooing leech is profiting on your work. I’m currently doing my best to reduce my reliance on corporate owned businesses, down to ditching my ink brand of 15 years, complete with sponsorship. I’m looking for small, artist owned businesses to support. That’s gonna make needles hard since tatsoul is under a corporate umbrella.
