These Outdoor Products students are making BIG moves, earning second place and a $7,500 prize at the 2026 InventOR Finals last week.

Their award-winning invention, the Tree Well Guardian, is designed to help save the lives of skiers trapped in tree wells. The boot-mounted device detects when a rider becomes inverted and automatically sends an emergency alert with their GPS location, helping rescuers respond when every second counts.

Their hard work is already making headlines with features in POWDER Magazine and Central Oregon Daily 👏🏼
