One of the foundational aspects I focus on working with clients in pain is building awareness.
This awareness is part of the mental map your brain constructs of your entire body. Another word for it is proprioception, or knowing where your body is in time and space.
By increasing awareness, you improve your ability to move in ways that don't illicit pain.
Essentially, this awareness becomes a primary tool my clients use in training to give their body exactly what it needs to get stronger, healthier and confident to do the things they love.
Strength in safety.
