We’re beyond excited to officially announce our new name, Roots Art & Nature School! This change reflects our merger with ArtDog, an amazing organization I’ve been partnering with for the past two years to provide mindful art classes. We’re thrilled to move forward together as Roots Art & Nature to provide programming that inspires creativity, a connection to the natural world and joyful living. At Roots, your child will be supported in taking a playful approach to creating that celebrates discovery and places little emphasis on the final product.

Our integration of process art through the Roots Curriculum allows for deep learning of the content - learning that sticks with them past the end of the day, unit, and even school year.

We always include time for free play at Mindful Kids Night Out. Why? Play is one of the key ways in which children learn! It’s self-guided so there is intrinsic motivation, it gives children to opportunity to experiment, and the concepts they learn are more likely to be retained when they’re acquired in an enjoyable manner.✨
