August is World Breastfeeding Month. 🤱🏻

WIC offers in-person breastfeeding education in English and Spanish. At our Breastfeeding class on August 5th, you will learn everything you need to know to get off to a good start with breastfeeding, and where to go for help once baby is born.

In addition, we will also have a certified Child Passenger Safety Technician that will help you correctly install your car seat and answer your questions. Call or text us, at 541-322-7435, to sign up for the Breastfeeding Class on August 5th in our Bend office.

*Infant safety seats are available for qualifying families. Please let the person signing you up for the class know if you are in need of a car seat.

Redmond! Come get your car seats checked on Thursday!

Deschutes County WIC offices will be closed to observe Independence Day on Friday, July 3rd. Our Bend and Redmond locations will re-open on Monday, July6th. You can leave a message or send a text at 541-322-7435, and we will respond on Monday.
