Happy birthday, dad. You would’ve been 80 today. Since your favorite breakfast was pancakes, we thought you’d like today being Theo’s first serving. He giggled with delight at the first taste. We love you and miss you and so so wish you’d have gotten to meet your grandson and teach him to play cribbage. Thanks for everything, your quiet competence will be passed along.

Just a quick Valentine’s lap with my love! Annie’s been telling me about the sweet new Horse Ridge trails, then, what do you know, we got an email from saying there is a BLM public comment period open for the Horse Ridge Recreation Area. Sure seems like an awesome opportunity to share your support for such an awesome riding area, and what you’d like to see there in the future! COTA has great tips on their site for commenting.

Can’t say as though I’ve had snowmaking affect a night ride before… Either way, needed to take down that last course tape on Jackpot. and Rekon lights doing their best in the frozen/slick/awesome conditions…
