For most of us Thanksgiving has past, and December is here!!! The season is about to start, which we call Christmas. The time between Thanksgiving and Christmas is the best time of the year!!! Why? Because today's scripture, reading and prayer from Joel is so spot on!!! This is the time to be thankful and give thanks, not just to the Lord God Almighty and the Lord Jesus Christ, but to all of those wonderful family and friends in your life!!! This year has been a rollercoaster of a year, filled with stress, un-certainness and conflict between all of us in today's world. BUT, this is the time of year, to release all of the past and be thankful for what's to come, because HE is in control and all you have to do is thank HIM for all you have, knowing HE is in control and will deliver, If your part is just to thanks Him and He will provide all your needs and doing exceedingly abundantly above all you could ever ask or imagine. "I give You a sacrifice of praise, for You are good, and Your mercy endures forever!"

A Time to Give Thanks
Today is a special day for us to give thanks to God for the good things He has done in our land, in our lives, and in the lives of our family members. When you take the time to pause and remember, you can see those times in your life when God brought you victory, brought you success. When you remember that He is providing for all your needs, and you give thanks to God for who He is and the miracles He has done in your life, you will be transformed.

And let us remember that thanksgiving is an attitude of our heart. Living with an attitude of gratitude means you don’t just thank God for what He did in the past, you also thank Him for what He will do in the future. You thank Him for opening new doors, for increasing you, and for bringing the right people into your life. When you thank God in advance, that’s really a declaration of faith. Live every day with an attitude of gratitude and thanksgiving.

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that I can enter into Your presence with a heart full of thanksgiving. Thank You for providing for all my needs and doing exceedingly abundantly above all I could ever ask or imagine. I give You a sacrifice of praise, for You are good, and Your mercy endures forever! In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
