For a select few of us, the season starts tomorrow! For a majority, the season is at least a month away.

In the mean time, lets dive into a full body strength routine, sprinkle in some mobility, and a dash of endurance.

You see, snowboarding requires not just one, but all of these aspects to thrive. Especially when you need to be at your best throughout the entirety of the season whether youre a mountain employee, seasoned veteran or just looking to make this season the best one to date.

SL Deadlift Row —> Lunge
Starting with a kettlebell or dumbbell on one side, drop into a single leg deadlift, knee slightly bent. Hinging from the waist and wight by your side, perform a single armed row, keeping your core contracted. At the bottom, simultaneously drive that back leg forward into a forward lunge, pausing shortly. Immediately bring the same leg back and drop into a single leg deadlift.

Cross Body Iso Squat
This is easier with a kettlebell but can be completed with a dumbbell. Holding the horns or one end, drop into an isometric seat of your choosing. Bring the weight directly in front and choose a side to rotate towards. Move the weight diagonally upwards, across, and back down diagonally to opposite side. Stand up into extension and repeat.

Sissy Steps
Start in a tall kneel position with weight close to your chest. Eccentrically move backwards and at end range drive back to original position. Shift weight onto one side, maintain even shoulders, drive one leg up and over into a half kneel position, bringing the opposite up into a low squat. Come to a stand and drop back the opposite direction performing again. 

Start without weight to master the movement. Keep the repetitions 8-12. Once mastered, add weight and complete up to 14 per set for 2-4 sets.
