Common Ground

Last weekend, we continued our series on “The Shadows: Living Between Darkness and Light” and focused on conflict—in our lives and communities. We reflected on moments from Jesus’ life during Holy Week, a week full of deep conflict, and the principles He modeled for us:
1️⃣ Conflict doesn’t mean God is absent.
2️⃣ Others in conflict aren’t “the enemy.”
3️⃣ Self-justification and self-saving corrupt Christlike conflict.
4️⃣ Navigating conflict with self-sacrificing love reflects Christ.
5️⃣ On the other side of Christlike conflict is restoration and resurrection.

Being a community that remembers these principles cultivates healing and draws others toward Jesus.
