A BIG thanks to Wanda Thompson, who shopped with the contributions from other Ward 4 residents and her family to donate a HUGE load of packaged food for the Belton Welfare Association. Ward 4 has made many contributions to this food drive, and the real winners are the underprivileged citizens served by the Welfare Association.
We are still accepting donations at my front porch, 802 Main Street, until 4 pm Saturday (November 26). I urge everyone to bring at least one can. THANKS! Rob

Hi Ward 4 - The City of Belton has started a contest pitting the 4 wards against each other. Fortunately, the winner will be the Belton Welfare Association - but we need your help!

Between now and November 26, the Belton ward that collects the most canned goods for the Belton Welfare Association will WIN. No prize has been announced except for our 'bragging rights' vs the other wards.

If you would like to donate to this cause, you can leave your canned goods on my porch swing at 802 Main Street. If you have time, knock on the door because I'd like to thank you and possibly meet you for the first time!
