3pm - 3am Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
Must be available to train on 1st shift during the week for 4 weeks
Pay $22.50 per hour

Knowledge and Skill Requirements
Attention to detail.
Basic math skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong computer skills and proficiency in word processing (Microsoft Word) and Excel.
Problem-solving skills along with the ability to influence other business units.
Ability to use quality assessment tools which may include calipers and scales.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED required
Job Summary
The Quality Assurance (QA) Technician is responsible for performing various routine laboratory operations in a quality assurance setting. Duties usually consist of making measurements and performing several routine quantitative and qualitative biological or chemical analytical tests according to standard procedures.
Essential Job Duties
Monitors the production process and product by sensory, weight control, and analytical methods to maintain product consistency and comply with established specifications, including color, moisture, pH, weight, size, etc.
Evaluate all finished products for moisture, ingredient content, breakage, color, package fill, raw and finished weights, seal integrity, code date legibility, and overall product quality.
Accurately performs and documents all testing. Testing may include Inspection and testing of incoming raw materials, in-process products, finished goods, and products produced by outside suppliers. Utilizes testing equipment for validation and/ or calibration.
Monitors the Food Safety Plan and Food Quality Plan effectiveness and conformance with SQF system requirements
Identifies, investigates, and/or determines whether out-of-compliance finished product should be placed on hold.
Coordinates disposition and/or rework with leadership approval.
Monitors raw materials storage area locations and complete shift tailings. Notifies appropriate personnel of any abnormal findings.
Monitors metal detection validation & verification.
Conducts pre-op inspections of processing, packaging, and mixing equipment after product changeovers and/or before weekly production start-up as a cross-functional team.
Performs plant sanitation verifications to ensure allergen-free and clean equipment.

Previous experience working in food manufacturing or chemical batching/ mixing is required
Must be flexible to work 1st and 2nd shifts:
Training on 1st shift 6:30am-3pm and then transferring to 2nd shift 2:30pm-11pm

General Summary:
This position is responsible for operating equipment and performing the set-up, physically handling, mixing, blending, and packaging products, cleaning, sanitizing equipment, and operating a forklift. The duties require utilizing math for calculations, regular attendance, and sufficient familiarity with a production environment, preferably food processing.
Principal Responsibilities:
1. Operate equipment as assigned, including DP-2, Raw Room equipment, and any other equipment as needed. Products
include dairy, CM, flavor premixes, and sage, USDA, and non-USDA flavors.
2. Assemble and prepare product piping for production.
3. Manually add ingredients to tanks and vessels.
4. Operate equipment as assigned and follow work instructions.
5. Clean and sanitize equipment used in assigned operations.
6. Maintain data on log sheets and ensure completion/accuracy of log sheets.
7. Maintain organization of all tools and equipment in the work area.
8. Communicate with the supervisor and relieving person as to the condition of the operation and any unusual circumstances.
9. Adhere to all safety programs and report any safety concerns to the supervisor.
10. Adhere to all HACCP/GMP program guidelines to ensure that the product is of the highest quality and integrity.
11. Maintain cost-effective production output, minimizing errors.
12. Perform minor preventative maintenance on production equipment.
13. Maintain certification as a backup for two roles within the facility
14. Additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
-2+ years of demonstrated knowledge and applicable experience in production,
manufacturing or distribution fields, preferably in the food-processing environment.
-Solid math and reading comprehension skills
-Previous forklift experience.
-Dependable attendance record
-Effective team player and communicator
-Safety and quality conscious
-Available to work overtime and weekends
