Today has been a year since I took the worst phone call I ever received. Thoughts and prayers to Jimmy Roeling 's friends and family today. RIP brother. Miss you more than words could ever say.

Moving on to a giant THANK YOU for everyone that contributed to the Jim Roeling Memorial Benefit. When I first made the decision this event was a go, myself and my wife and a few band members started making calls. I started an email account, announced the event, and quickly realized I was really going to need help to truly be successful. My God, did I get it. Nothing of the Grand scale of what you all witnessed last Saturday would have occurred without the list of folks below, their families that supported their efforts, and all of the donors that answered the call without hesitation and an emphatic "Yes!" It was all due to everyone's love for Jim, as an artist, co-worker, friend, and family member. He will be missed and was taken way too soon.

On a personal level, first and foremost is my wife Stephanie Mike and my family, and all of 529 for putting up with the stress and craziness and helping me to pull this off. Thanks for believing in the idea and the cause.

Next up, I have to thank the people that jumped in from the beginning to carry the weight of all the organization and fundraising efforts. Without them, none of this would have been possible. In no particular order, Jeff Rath, Liz Davis-Bloyer , Chris Benti, Christie Quimby, Lisa Engebretson, Lisa Rock, and Jeff Dopp and the Grand Avenue Pub. They were an amazing team that rolled up their sleeves and just flat out got it DONE.

Then we have the bands and artists that helped 529 make this an all day, all night event. We would like to thank all of the singers that lent us their voice to put on a great show: Brian King, Heith Gruner, Matthew Runde, Juelane Porter, Angela Renteria, and Tom Buchko. George brought the sound and thunder, Rollin' Dubs, Syndicated, and Ultra Violet brought awesome music and gave their talents to keep people dancing and singing all day and all night. We received tons of compliments on how great they all were. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Finally, we have an amazing extended list of everyone that donated time, talent, goods or something else to the benefit, in no particular order. Please accept my sincerest apolgies if we've missed anyone; there were so many involved and so mamy moving pueces. If you know someone on this list, give them a thanks or hug, buy them a drink. If you need a service or goods, please look at the staggering list of businesses and patronize them. Without all of these contributions, we would have just had a party; this was that and so much more.

Hey, all! We are only about a week and a half from blowing the roof off of the GAP in honor of our fallen brother Jimmy Roeling! I said that we had some big news coming this week so here goes!

Diane Hendricks has reached out with some really incredible donations for our cause to raise funds for Jimmy’s family. All of these items should be at the show to see in person, and need not be present to win! I will start small and work my way to the top, so keep scrolling!

First up, we have a pair of E-bikes. The are Hyper brand and there are two of them, in fantastic condition. The decision has been made to sell raffle tickets for them independently, at $5 per ticket!

Next up, Diane has donated a bright red 2015 Vespa Moped! It looks like new and the odometer shows only 841 miles! These tickets will also be $5 each.

For the really big news, Diane made the decision to part with TWO of her late husband's HARLEY DAVIDSON Dyna motorcycles! 😲 They are a 2003 100th anniversary model Dyna Wide Glide and a 2005 Dyna Low Rider. Tickets for these are $20 each, are available NOW and need not be present to win! You can see them at the show for sure. If we have any other chance to display them and sell tickets in the next 8 days I will post it.

Find tickets at the HOG Cabin, Grand Avenue Pub, The Club, Christie Quimby, Liz Bloyer, Jeff Rath, and other volunteers that can post up their info here, or email to [email protected]!

100% OF THE PROCEEDS GO TO JIM'S FAMILY!!!

Buy now and tell a friend! Stay tuned for more info soon on other raffle items and get ready to RAWK!

EDIT: The donors of the Vespa and e-bikes are Phil and Paul Saalsaa! Thanks so much for your donations and sorry for the mistake!

It has been an incredible and humbling week. I passed the reigns for the fundraising portion of the Jim Roeling Memorial Benefit to people with more experience and available time than I could provide, so I could concentrate on the show. The amount of hard work and heart they've put in and the results pouring in are so far beyond what I ever imagined and they tell me we are just getting started. Stay tuned for updates and some pretty incredible announcements. God bless all of the volunteers! There is no way I could have ever done this without you.
