Strap on your walking shoes and join us every other week for Mindful Mile(s)–A Walking Group. We depart from the library lobby at 9:00am and hit the walking trail along the river for a leisurely stroll. We're back to the library by 11:00am, perfect timing to grab a refreshing drink from Blender Cafe. The next meet-up is Monday, June 15.

Community Impact in Action | 2026 Spotlight Series

We’re pleased to support the Beloit Public Library Foundation with a $2,000 Community Impact grant for their Civics Academy series. 🏛️

The Civics Academy is a monthly lunch-and-learn series that helps residents better understand topics like public finance, city services, education, housing, and economic development. By making civic education accessible and engaging, the program empowers community members to stay informed and take an active role in shaping Beloit’s future!

Thanks to this grant, the series is also able to provide lunches for attendees – removing barriers and helping more people participate in these important conversations.
