USPS-approved cluster mailboxes include a paper drill template for laying out wedge anchor holes, but after installing CBUs I’ve found a more accurate method.

Ever wonder how a USPS Cluster Box Unit (CBU) parcel locker works?

When a CBU is at capacity or a package is too large to fit inside a resident’s mailbox, the mail carrier places it in a secure parcel locker and leaves a key in the resident’s mailbox. The key provides one-time access to retrieve the package safely and securely.
