"Art in the Dark" happening this week 6:30–8:30 p.m. Feb. 27–28
at Gabriel's Art Kids, 1405 Dupont St.

The Big Dark may be coming to an end, but Gabriel's Art Kids is making the most of the remaining winter with their Art in the Dark party. This family-friendly event spans dancing, crafts and other kid-centric activities — all made a little extra magical with the help of blacklights. Tickets are just $15 per person and include all related supplies. Per GAK's website, all attendees need to do is "show up ready to glow."

Art in the Dark encompasses three blacklit "zones": a glow paint studio, neon dance floor and craft corner. GAK's instructors will be on deck all night to guide kids through each art project, meaning all levels are welcome to participate. Registration is available on GAK's website; note that all children must be accompanied by adults, and all attendees (including infants and toddlers) must have tickets.
