They keep coming around. Do you think they know I’m watching the playoffs? Could it be that they are mocking me?

A few unrelated observations:

ONE:
Yesterday, I was walking on the Boardwalk behind a young man and woman I had seen previously sitting next to one another on a bench. They were clearly a romantic couple. As they walked along the boardwalk, I noticed they walked single file -- each looking down at their phones as they walked. I thought it was sad on more than one level.

TWO:
When you walk around the Pacific Northwest you may get blackberries on the bottom of your shoes. This was not a Southern California issue. Nor was stepping around the occasional apple that has fallen to the sidewalk. :)

THREE:
I have found that it is less disturbing for me to watch true crime than it is to watch the news.
