The next multidisciplinary journal club meeting will be on systemic hypermobility and associated factors. It speaks so beautifully to multiple disciplines with the cardiac/BP/MSK and pelvic floor factors common to these conditions.

It will be held on April 20th from 6-8 pm at Brandywine Cafe in Downtown Bham.

Do you have an article or case study to share on systemic hypermobility syndrome or Ehler's Danlos specific topics (for example musculoskeletal rx, POTS or prolapse) including treatment recommendations?

Would you be interested and able to come and present the case & evidence supporting Evidence based practice (EBP) and treatment?
Is the article(s) FREE online, and published within the last 5 years? Or a seminal article that is foundational to this condition?
Are you available on April 20th from 6-8 pm?
Do you like beer and food? It is available for purchase at Brandywine!

The format: Kick off with a chance to check your Beighton Scale rating 🙂 followed by 2-3 brief case study or EBP article discussions addressing the different conditions relating to this complex condition.

Once speakers are secured, we will post links to the articles on the Bellingham Journal page.

The Ask: Please reach out to me before April 10th if you would like to share a case and the topic. It would be great to get 2-3 different disciplines and walk away with some tractionable treatment ideas. Share this with fellow licensed providers and movement professionals in our community.

This as an opportunity to come together as a healing community and welcome any discipline to present evidence-based information, and the more active/interactive discussion and presentation, the better!
