Serene Footfalls

As I listen to the rain outside, I am thankful I was able to take an impromptu walk on the Semihamoo Spit with a friend today. Have you ever walked on the beach and berms for an extended time? The soft sand, kelp, seaweed, and loose rocks challenge your feet and ankles. Boy, do they get a workout!

There were several different kinds of birds enjoying the surf.

I also noticed the plants were a little confused. It is the middle of November and they are still blooming. I love the PNW.
