Throwback to Sunset Serenade!

One of our favorite parts of the evening? The laughs, the memories, and the unforgettable moments captured in the Glitt3r Lyfefe photo booth! From goofy poses to genuine smiles, our guests brought the fun and made our very first Sunset Serenade one to remember.

As we mark the United States’ 250th anniversary, we celebrate the movement builders who have transformed . Among them is Dr. Dorothy Irene Height, a leader whose work with the YWCA and the National Council of Negro Women helped advance racial justice, women’s empowerment, and community resilience.

For nearly four decades, Dr. Height dedicated her life to expanding opportunity, uniting communities, and pushing institutions to live up to the ideals of justice and equity. Her leadership inspired generations and laid the groundwork for a more inclusive America.

🎆 As we celebrate the 4th of July and mark 250 years of American independence, we also honor the YWCA movement builders who have shaped and helped forge a more just, equitable, and inclusive nation. Throughout our history, visionary leaders like Dr. Dorothy Irene Height, Rosetta Evelyn Lawson, Grace Hoadley Dodge, and Julia Morgan have transformed the landscape for women, communities of color, and social justice. Their courageous work continues to inspire the ongoing mission of YWCA and the continuation of the United States of America
