Today, we're celebrating one of the most powerful tools for a more sustainable future: renewable energy.

This summer, The RE Store is taking another step forward by expanding a rooftop solar system with a new 62 kW solar array. This project is made possible through support from Puget Sound Energy's Solar Grant Program, which helps community based nonprofits reduce energy costs and invest more resources into serving their communities.

The impact doesn't stop with clean energy production. Once installation is complete, RE Store will be adding educational signage to help visitors learn how their system works and hosting a community workshop on solar energy in Washington State.

World Environment Day reminds us that meaningful change happens through collective action, local partnerships, and investments in a healthier future. We're proud to be doing our part and excited to share this journey with our community.
