Did you know some of the incarcerated handlers in our Coyote Ridge prison program are also talented crafters?

Recently, they reached out with a special idea: they wanted to knit a custom Brigadoon blanket to donate to this year’s gala auction. They had the skills and the heart behind the project — they just needed the yarn to bring it to life.

So we reached out to the wonderful team at Northwest Yarns & Mercantile, and they generously donated all of the supplies needed for the project.

Today, we’re sending the yarn off to Coyote Ridge, and we can’t wait to see what they create.

Stay tuned for photos of the finished blanket! 🧶

One month left. $110,000 to go.

Because of this community, Brigadoon has raised more than $140,000 toward our $250,000 emergency campaign goal.

We are deeply grateful — and we still have urgent work ahead.

✨ Right now, the next $15,000 in gifts will be doubled, helping us close the remaining gap and keep service dogs in training. ✨

Will you give today and help us turn $15,000 into $30,000 for Brigadoon?

We just hit the halfway mark! 💙

Thanks to this community, Brigadoon has raised just over $140,000 toward our $250,000 emergency campaign goal.

With one month left, every gift matters. Thanks to two generous donors, we now have $35,000 in total matching gifts — and the next $15,000 in donations will still be matched dollar for dollar.

But we’re also thinking beyond July 1. Brigadoon needs steady support year-round to keep service dogs in training and current teams supported.

Right now, we have 18 amazing monthly donors helping sustain this work. Will you join them?

Become a monthly donor today, and your first twelve gifts will be doubled while matching funds remain.

This Memorial Day, we remember and honor those who gave their lives in service to our country. 🇺🇸

We’re also thinking of the veterans still waiting for support.

One veteran applicant shared that a service dog could help anchor them during panic and anxiety, ease the feeling of always being “on alert,” and remind them they are safe in their own life.

Brigadoon recently passed the halfway mark toward our $250,000 emergency campaign goal, and right now, your gift can still be doubled while matching funds remain.

Will you give today to help keep service dogs in training for the veterans waiting to be matched?
