NAMI Whatcom

The NAMI Whatcom office will be closed this Monday, June 15th, except for Family Support Group that will meet at their normal time at 12:30.

The NAMI Whatcom staff will be out and will return messages on Tuesday the 16th.

Also big thanks to one of our long time volunteers for making this exceptional post in honor of Brylie's vacation.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month.

This week our Peer Program Coordinator, Brylie, was out at Bellingham High School sharing her story about growing up with a mental health condition, talking about resources in the community, and reducing the stigma that surrounds mental health.

The more we can have open, honest, and empathetic conversations surrounding mental health, the more folks feel heard and know where to turn to for help.
