Had a great time running the mini comp this Sunday! We had fewer people than expected, but that turned out to be a good thing since I made the course too hard and everyone needed a lot of extra time 😆

I just want to remind y'all that anyone is welcome to host a comp at Hobbytown Bellingham as long as they have the owner's permission. I'll be happy to help in whatever way I can.

For me, it's looking like the next comp will (probably) be the 26th or the 27th and that should be another 3-class event with a bigger and better playground and more staff. If I can get two committed volunteers to help run things, we can start planning that event right away, so let me know if you're interested!

The wait is (almost) over! I'm going to host another comp of some sort at Hobbytown Bellingham this Sunday the 30th around 1:00. I'm looking for volunteers to judge courses and the more I get the bigger the comp will be! So get ahold of your friends, family, trained apes, anyone you know that can work a timer or use a pencil. Message me here or email [email protected].

Hoping to start competition at 1 again but this time be done around 3. Run things a little better with a lot less waiting around. No prizes lined up yet so this one's just for funzies.

Huge thank you to Bellingham HobbyTown for letting me build the course and host the comp. And a huge thank you as well to Jesse Merrick for helping run things and set up,
Auden Lenn for helping me troubleshoot lines and paint the course,
Iceberg RC for donating wonderful prizes,
Brandon Ross for the photos
And to everyone who showed up, fully booking every slot in each class (and then some...)
I have a lot of ideas for how to make the course and the comps better, so stay tuned!
