When working on remodels, you inherit certain interior characteristics that often
become the foundation piece of the new design direction. This existing stone wall is
a perfect example. We gave it new life with a simple grout wash, softening the
contrast and bringing a fresh, cohesive feel to the space.

This walk-in wine room set the tone for this entire kitchen wall—serving as the anchor
for the design. We seamlessly integrated the access door into a wall of full-height
cabinetry, then framed the custom metal and glass wine door with vertical textured
tambour to add depth, rhythm, and a refined focal point.

During the design phase, we reimagined a shallow 10” niche from the original
architectural plans—transforming it from a non-functional detail into a custom
arched built-in with purpose and presence.
It’s a perfect example of why thoughtful interior design matters: every floor plan
holds hidden opportunities waiting to be uncovered.
